Jodi James has been a hairstylist since 2012 and is the owner of Jodi James Studio in Dallas Design District. Jodi specializes in cuts, color, and extensions. She attended Paul Mitchell Hair Academy and did a year long apprentice training program at a salon in University Park before taking on her own clients. Jodi has attended more than 45 classes and workshops during her career including: cutting classes by R&Co co-founder and creative director, Howard McLaren; styling and cutting classes by Vogue Stylist and Oribe Global Ambassador, James Pecis; Front Row Hair Education Festival in Miami hosted by Oribe; Makeup by Mario Masterclass by Mario Dedivanovic. 

 

Jodi loves the connection she has with each of her clients. She takes the time to listen to your specific needs and goals and believes a thorough consultation is necessary. She then creates a custom look just for you, whether it’s glam styling for a special event or a refresh on your current look. Jodi loves to share styling tips so you can create salon results at home. Jodi’s number one goal is that you absolutely love your look! As an added bonus, she’ll take a deep dive with you into whatever wild thing has happened on Bravo lately. 

 

Jodi likes to recharge her creativity with some self-care through yoga, pilates, and a good spa day. She also loves to travel with her family and her husband, Adam.
